Nutmeg – This shit will fuck you up hard, in a bad way.

So, since I got a bag of nutmeg laying around, I’ve been adding it here and there for some extra flavor in food…

Big mistake. <—–

A couple of days ago I added some to breakfast. Nothing at first, fast forward several hours later, and cue massive panic attack. I couldn’t relate it to the nutmeg back then. So I added some more this time on Tuesday, and I’m STILL TRIPPING.

I thought i was being careful when adding it, but everyone is different in terms of tolerance to this evil little spice. Basically, it’s a deliriant. Not a fun trip. Think nightshade plants.

The worse part about this shit is it lasts for days. It’s over 24 hours now and I still feel it. The dry mouth is brutal, the chills are annoying, and the constant body buzz if very unpleasant. Add to that the elevated heart rate (not fun with people with anxiety) and other nasty physical symptoms like the dizziness.

At some point there was a faint urge to laugh, reminiscent of a pot high. But that moment was short lived and went straight down the rabbit hole. Feeling fatigued and lethargic are also vile feelings during the trip. Heavy head and congestion as well.

Having any alcohol with it is just a nightmare, holy fuck, DO NOT TRY.

It’s over 27 hours now and the feeling of the high is still present. Not fun.

Stay away from this hellish spice.
